RUMFORD – Relief from the cold winter weather will arrive at the Black Mountain of Maine lodge Friday, Jan. 16, with the return of Tinpanic & Caribbean Night.

Formed in 2002, the Auburn-based steel drum band is made up of fun-loving pan players and one enthusiastic drummer. Their repertoire ranges from calypso to jazz, to rock ‘n’ roll and Latin funk.

Happy hour begins at 5 p.m. with drink specials; dinner starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 for dinner and entertainment; $8 for entertainment only. For those just coming to see the band, doors will open at 6:30 p.m. For more on the band, check out www.tinpanic.com. The lodge is at 39 Glover Road. For more information, call 364-8977.
