SAUNDERSTOWN, R.I. – Labbe, Joan (Morin), 72, of Pepperbush Trail, R.I., passed away on Dec. 22, at home.

Born in Lewiston, she was the daughter of the late Donat and Florence (Painchaude) Morin.

Before retirement, she was employed by the Middletown School Department as an administrative clerk. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of Rhode Island, and a deacon at St. Lucy Church in Middletown. She was a loving and caring person.

Loving mother of Donald Labbe and wife, Melissa, of Alabama, Ann Paliotti and husband, Mark, of Narragansett R.I., Lynn Gargano and husband, Domenic, of West Warwick, R.I., and Janice Horton and husband John. Sister of Norman Morin of Florida and Jacqueline Pelletier. Grandmother of nine. She was also the sister of the late Donald Morin.
