LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Marguerite R. Landry on Saturday, Dec. 27, at The Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt officiating. Readings were done by Maurice Theriault and Denis Landry, nephews of Marguerite’s, petitions were read by Claire Gagnon, a niece, and the presentation of gifts was done by her grandaughters, Kathryn Gradwell, Danielle Landry, Brianne Landry and Michelle Hamann. The Eulogy was given by Sue Poulin, a good friend of the family. The Maine State Police provided Honor Guards during the wake and funeral. They also escorted the funeral procession to the cemetery to honor Mrs. Landry, the mother of State Trooper, Giles Landry, who was killed in the line of duty in 1989. Committal was held at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

The pallbearers were Roland Hamann, Paul Hamann, Jake Landry, Bryan Gradwell, Peter Lessard, Steve Bannister, Mark Theriault and Denis Theriault. A service of The Fortin Group Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
