RUMFORD – Patricia L. Sirois, 68, died peacefully Sunday, Dec. 28, at her home on Franklin Street, Rumford, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Bloomsburg, Pa., March 6, 1940. She was a daughter of the late Harry L. and Lois (Summers) McGaw. She graduated from Wheaton High School, Wheaton, Md., and from C.M.V.T.I. Nursing Program in Auburn. She worked as a LPN at the Clover Manor in Auburn for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Rumford. She loved to bowl and was a member of the National Bowling League and bowled in Maryland, Pennsylvania, California, Hawaii and Maine including championship tournaments in New York and all over New England. She enjoyed playing bingo with her bingo buddies. She also loved Southern California and the annual spring vacations in Palm Springs. Most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren and watching Disney movies with her granddaughters.
She was married in Rockville, Md., March 3, 1984, to Joseph N. Sirois.
Survivors include her husband, Joe, of Rumford; a daughter, Michele Bastin of Woodbridge, Va.; sons, Lawrence Dodson of Latham, Md., Jerald Dodson of Baltimore, Md., Darren Dodson and his wife, Joanne, of Lewiston; stepchildren, Julie Mills and her husband, James, of Fresno, Calif., Bradley Sirois and his wife, Coleen, of Murrieta, Calif.; three grandchildren, Gabriele Bastin of Woodbridge, Va., Krystal Dodson and Darren Dodson Jr. of Lewiston; three stepgrandchildren, Jordan Sirois and Riley Sirois of Murrieta, Calif., and Kale Kramer of Fresno, Calif.; a sister, Dorothy Kotansky and husband, Allen, of Bloomsburg, Pa.; a brother, Barry McGaw and his wife, Ruth, of Hazelton, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
