Auburn firefighters and emergency personnel remove an injured woman from her car at Union Street Bypass and Hampshire Street in Auburn about 2:15 p.m. Monday. Police said the accident occurred when a tractor-trailer driven by Donizetti DeSousa, 53, of Belleville, N.J., failed to observe the traffic signal as a result of the sun. Vehicles driven by Susan Tufts, 55, of Auburn and Kerrie Selleck, 23, of Lewiston were involved in the incident.
