FARMINGTON – People are invited to a farewell reception for Richard Batt, president of Franklin Memorial Hospital, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the lobby of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center.

Batt, who has led the hospital for the past 15 years, is retiring with plans to pursue consulting work to bring concepts successful at FMH to other organizations.

The Franklin Community Health Network/Franklin Memorial Hospital board of directors is hosting the reception. Refreshments and tours of the new medical building will be available.

To reach the Medical Arts Center take the same entrance as Franklin Memorial Hospital, then take a quick left. Follow the road just beyond the Mt. Blue Health Center to reach the new building.
