LACONIA, N.H. – Fern Glassett, 89, of 7 Magnolia Lane, Belmont, N.H., died at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Dec. 22.

She was born Nov. 23, 1919, in Lowell, Mass., the daughter of Isadore A. and Andree (Trefois) Tetrault. She was the widow of Robert Glassett, who died in October 2003.

She had been a resident of Belmont for the past five years, after moving there from Auburn. She liked gardening and loved being with family and friends.

She is survived by a son, John Arsenault of Newton, Mass.; a daughter, Patricia Beach of Poland; three grandchildren, Jolie Hassler of Gilford, N.H., Jill Maroney of Rockland, Mass., and Cari Roy of Lewiston; and 10 great-grandchildren.
