LEWISTON – Maine Family Federal Credit Union members donated hundreds of coats to the Coats for Kids drive, filling 12 large bags, which were delivered to the Salvation Army.
Each year, Maine Family’s members, staff, tellers, relatives and friends clean out their closets and bring in coats and jackets of all sizes to donate to Coats for Kids.
“This year’s response was just phenomenal,” said Maine Family Federal Credit Union Marketing Director Karen Caouette, “With donation centers located in our branches and in other businesses and public buildings across the state, thousands of Maine children are able to benefit from the generosity of all those who take the time to donate coats.”
The Coats for Kids drive and the Maine Credit Union’s Ending Hunger Campaign are two of the biggest fall community projects that Maine Family Federal Credit Union supports each year.
