BRUNSWICK – Ethel May Murray, 89, of 12 Beulah Lane, Durham, went to be with Jesus, peacefully with her family at her side, early Saturday morning, Jan. 3, at Parkview Hospital.

She was born in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada, on May 21, 1919, a daughter of Arthur W. and Nellie M. (White) Creak and was educated in Winnipeg schools.

On July 14, 1940, she married Harryl W. Dukelow who predeceased her in May 1970.

She later married Victor P. Murray in May 1980, and he predeceased her in 1999.

May was a homemaker who always worked hard to provide a warm and loving home for her family and was a member of Shiloh Chapel in Durham and Bedford Community Church in Bedford, N.H.

Among her favorite enjoyments were cooking, gardening, tending to her flower garden, camping, reading and playing family games. May loved to laugh and have a good time but she was also truly a woman of prayer and a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who, most of all, enjoyed the many special times spent with her family. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves three daughters, Joan Lanoie and husband, Denis, of Ste. Anne, Manitoba, Canada, Fran Walker and husband, Rick, of Ste. Andrews, Manitoba, Canada, and Lois Parker and husband, the Rev. Ron, of Durham; three sons, Ted Dukelow and wife, Kathleen, of Sapulpa, Okla., Gerry Dukelow and wife, Gayle, of New Boston, N.H., and Keith Dukelow and wife, Denise, of Brookline, N.H.; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hilda Nicol of White Rock, British Columbia, Canada.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Marilyn Dukelow; and 10 sisters and brothers.
