BELFAST (AP) – A Medway man who was driving a company truck when it crashed and killed a passenger has been indicted on charges of manslaughter and aggravated driving to endanger.

James Lee, who is 43, runs a construction business in Millinocket with his brothers. He was driving a work crew home from Belfast in a company truck when it left the road in Monroe at a high rate of speed and crashed into the woods. Twenty-eight-year-old William Russell was killed in the crash and two other passengers were injured.

The indictment was released after Lee’s arrest on Wednesday and Lee later was freed on $50,000 bail. State records show Lee has a lengthy speeding record and his license has been suspended six times in the past decade.
