MARTINSVILLE – The wedding of Jennifer Leigh Jafarzadeh and Daniel Richard L’Italien was held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 20 at the Saltwater Farm in Martinsville. A good friend of the couple, Erin Monroe, officiated at the ceremony.
Ms. L’Italien is the daughter of Mohamad and Kathryn Jafarzadeh of New Jersey. Mr. L’Italien is the son of Richard and Claire L’Italien of Lewiston.
The ceremony was held in a field overlooking the coastline. The bride was walked down a grassy path by her brother, Steven Jafarzadeh, and was given in marriage by her father.
John Karp, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Dave Green, friend of the bride, played acoustic guitar for the ceremony.
A reception followed inside the barn at the farm, which was decorated by the bride and friends. After the wedding, the couple explored the Maine coast for a week. They are residing in Brooklyn, N.H.
The couple are both graduates of Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. The bride is a former magazine editor, who is now starting up her own business. The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Lewiston High School and currently works as a derivatives trader.
