LEWISTON – Beatrice M. Curtis, 82, of 102 Campus Ave., passed away Jan. 1, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Livermore, Dec. 16, 1926, the adopted daughter of Earlon M. and Frances A. Wyman. Bea was a lifelong resident of Lewiston, where she attended school and worked. She was married to William J. Curtis in 1977, who predeceased her on Dec. 1, 1982.

When she was younger, she worked many years at Bolster Health Care Facility in the laundry room as well as with the children at the Madison Street School.

Her favorite enjoyments in her free time were sewing, embroidery and arts and crafts. She enjoyed the time she spent with her friends at the Social Learning Center and was a big help to others there. She was a loving and very generous person with a big heart who will be truly missed by her relatives and friends, especially Donna Gillespie.

She leaves behind a son, David Starbird and wife, Diana, and family; a brother, Milford Wyman and wife, Maxine, and family; a dear friend, Barbara Morse; as well as relatives and friends from the Farmington, Jay and Lewiston areas.
