FARMINGTON – Beryl Pitcher Hoyt, 80, of Maple Avenue, Farmington, died peacefully in her sleep at her home on Monday, Jan. 5.

She was born Jan. 29, 1928, in Corinna, the daughter of Charles F. and Helen (Fraser) Pitcher. She was a 1949 graduate of Farmington State Teachers College and continued her education by obtaining her real estate broker’s license.

On June 17, 1950, she married Dana Hoyt in Corinna.

She leaves her husband of 58 years, Dana of Farmington; their daughters, Nichola D. Taylor of Warren and Candace H. White of Rockport, Mass.; grandchildren, Matthew Page and his wife, Elisabeth, of San Francisco, Calif., Patterson White and his wife, Sarah, of Framingham, Mass., and Samantha D. Page of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Pitcher of the Corinna area; and nieces and nephews.
