MECHANIC FALLS – Andrew M. Crane, 47, of Mechanic Falls died Monday, Jan. 5, at his home.

He was born in Norway, on May 18, 1961, the son of Marchian Sr. and Joyce Reynolds Crane. He graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn and had been a chef all of his life.

He owned and operated several restaurants over the years. He loved to cook. He enjoyed wood carving, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed bowling, playing pool, darts and poker.

He is survived by his parents of Poland; a brother, Marchian Jr. of Gray; two nephews; one niece; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
