MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Ella Adley, 80, of Wadsworth Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Middletown, Conn., passed away this Monday, Jan. 5.

Daughter of the late John and Gladys McCourt Edwards and wife of the late Leslie A. Adley, she was born in Jay, Nov. 23, 1928, and resided in Middlefield, Conn., from 1957 to 1988, where she was a member of the Middlefield Federated Church. After 15 years of service, she retired from Lyman Gunsight Co. of Middlefield in 1988.

She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Susan and Joseph Gilleaudeau of Manchester, Conn., and Linda and Willian Polley of Waterbury, Conn.; her two granddaughters, Jessica L. DeMaio of Middletown, Conn., and Kristina M. DeMaio, of Manchester, Conn.; and her devoted sister, Aileen Kingsley of Strong.

She will be reunited in heaven with her sisters, Hazel Holman and Katherine Record; and dear brothers, Walter, Allen, Phillip, Theodore and Cecil McCourt.
