SOUTH PARIS – Barbara Jean Cronkhite, 54, of South Paris, died Monday, Dec. 29, at her home.
She was born in Lewiston, on June 10, 1954, the daughter of Marshall “Ted” and Virginia Gammon Berry. She attended Auburn schools and Edward Little High School.
She had been a “sandwich artist” for Subway for many years, working as the manager of stores in Portland and Auburn. She was a volunteer driver for Community Concepts. She was family oriented, loved the Lord and loved frogs.
She is survived by her companion, Gerald Shannon of South Paris; her mother, Virginia of South Paris; six sons, Joel Berry and his wife, Tracy, of Rutland, Vt., James Macy and Kelly Knepps of Auburn, Matthew Robare and his wife, Lisa, of Oxford, Daniel Robare and his wife, Jen, of Norway, Joshua Small and his wife, Jasmine, of Auburn and Aaron Small and his wife, Danielle, of Harrison; a sister, Deborah Delano of Fort Apache Jct., Ariz.; and 13 grandchildren.
