Benefit dance

JAY – A benefit potluck supper and dance will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the VFW Post 3335. The supper will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. and the dance will go from 8 p.m to midnight with DJ Dusk til Dawn. Admission will be $5 a person and proceeds will benefit Garret Lovewell, who has been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.

Financial aid

FARMINGTON – A financial aid information presentation for the parents of Mt. Blue High School seniors will be given at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, in the Mt. Blue High School auditorium.

A representative from the financial aid office at the University of Maine at Farmington will present information on the financial aid application process, types and sources of financial aid, and will also answer questions.

Concepts meeting

NORWAY – Community Concepts Inc. will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Norway Town Office Complex, 19 Danforth St. All meetings are open to the public. For more information, call 739-6564.
