LEWISTON – State Sen. Margaret Craven, D-Lewiston, and Rep. Richard Wagner, D-Lewiston, are co-hosting a TV show on the cable local access channel this month highlighting the efforts of the Lewiston-Auburn area to regionalize municipal functions.

The show, “Answers From Augusta,” will air on Cable Channel 11 every Monday in January at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. Appearing with them on the show are Justice Robert Clifford and Peter Garcia, who served on the Citizens Commission on Lewiston-Auburn Consolidation.

“It is important for the people of Lewiston and Auburn to learn about the work that has been going on to help our municipalities work together more efficiently,” Craven said. “I would like to encourage people to take the time to tune in.”

“We are so fortunate to have Justice Robert Clifford and attorney Peter Garcia on our program to talk about coordinating efforts between the two cities to provide savings for the residents of Lewiston and Auburn,” Wagner said. “Justice Clifford and attorney Garcia are two of the Twin Cities’ most dedicated citizens, and I have come to respect them greatly over the 35 years I have known them.”
