LISBON – A Sabattus woman apparently escaped injury late Wednesday afternoon when she lost control of her car on snow-covered Route 9 and struck a tree.
Paula Coulombe, 63, was driving south when her car skidded out of control on the slippery road, crossed the northbound lane onto the left shoulder and slammed into a tree, said Lisbon police officer Jeffrey Picard.
He estimated damage to her 1996 Oldsmobile minivan at $2,500 in the 4:30 p.m. crash.
