BRUNSWICK – The Bowdoin College Library’s annual “Children’s Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.” will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 19, in Lancaster Lounge, Moulton Union.

Children’s book authors Rohan Henry (“The Perfect Gift”) and Charlotte Agell (“Dancing Feet,” “I Wear Long Green Hair in the Summer”) will be on hand for “illustrated storytelling,” singing and crafts in remembrance of Dr. King.

The program is geared toward children ages five and up, and is open to the public. Admission is free.

Refreshments will be served, and copies of Rohan Henry’s book “The Perfect Gift” and selected titles by Charlotte Agell will be available for purchase.

In the event of inclement weather on Jan. 19, check www.bowdoin.edu for event cancellation information.
