FARMINGTON – Mo-Nai arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter in late November and has been waiting for her forever home.

Staff said she has a young heart in a mature 3-year-old body. Her coat is a dusty gray brindle with an underbelly of white. Anyone looking for a large cuddly dog is invited to visit Mo-Nai and her friends at the shelter.

New dogs include a brown, cream and white female Akita mix from Jay and a black and tan shepherd mix from New Sharon.

Shelter staff has announced the shelter is open but adoptions are limited to the dogs and new cats coming in because of a suspected ringworm problem in the first cat room.

The shelter will hold a spay-neuter clinic for cats on Sunday, Feb. 8. Call 778-2638 for more information.
