LEWISTON – A local woman was arrested late Tuesday night, charged with arson after allegedly setting a bag of cat feces on fire on the porch of a neighbor.

Karen Hudson, 33, of 115 Shawmut St., was charged by Lewiston police after being arrested at 10:49 p.m. at 231 Sabattus St.

Police said Hudson set the feces on fire on the porch of a home at 67 Shawmut St. just after 7 p.m.

Few details were available Wednesday night and the case remained under investigation.
