SOUTH PARIS – Stephen A. Dugmore, 44, of South Paris died Jan. 6, at his home.

He was born in Boston, on April 20, 1964, the son of Arnold and Frances Ryan Dugmore. He attended schools in Massachusetts and graduated from SMTC as an oil burner technician, most recently employed by Casco Oil Co.

He was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was instrumental in the construction of the Smilin’Moose Tavern in South Paris, owned by his sister Kathy and her husband.

He is survived by his mother of West Paris; his sister, Kathy Deluca and her husband, Dan, of South Paris; cousins, aunts and an uncle; and his dog, Dutch.

He was predeceased by his father.
