RUMFORD – Ervin Edward Soule, 72, of Roxbury Road, Mexico, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Rumford Hospital.

The son of Guy and Eva (Wheeler) Soule, he was born in Hartland, on May 22, 1936.

He worked for DeCoster Egg Farm for 10 years, and then for Mead Paper Co. in Rumford for 10 years until retirement.

He was married at the Mexico Congregational Church in Mexico, on Sept. 20, 1997, to Evon Gerrish, who survives of Mexico.

Other survivors include daughters, Amy Soule and Annette Sprague and husband, Michael; grandsons, Cori and Michael Sprague; granddaughters, Natasha and Michaela Sprague; stepdaughter, Darlene Killion; step-grandsons, Simon and Eli; step-sons, Gregory Holmes and Glen Holmes and wife, Penny; step-grandsons, Brandon and Jamie Freeman, Adam and Christopher Arsenault; and step-granddaughters, Jasmine and Nicole

He was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, George and Linwood Soule.
