NEW YORK (AP) – The Phish reunion is in full swing: The band just announced plans for a summer tour.

Phish disbanded five years ago with a grand goodbye concert in their home state of Vermont, but announced last fall that they were getting back together for a trio of concerts starting March 6.

On Thursday, the jamband said it would kick off a summer tour on New York’s Long Island on June 4.

Phish – a quartet of Trey Anastasio, Page McConnell, Mike Gordon and Jon Fishman – got its start in 1983. Their improvisational style and mix of different genres made them an enormously successful touring group with a cultlike following. They decided to call it quits in 2004 after fatigue and personal problems took a toll.
