I am writing in regards to this year’s Toys for Tots program. I was under the impression that the Toys for Tots program was statewide. Unfortunately, this year, Franklin County was not part of it, while Oxford County received more than 1,000 gifts for distribution.

All families needed gifts this year, especially with the economy being what it is. I wonder why gifts were not distributed to Franklin County. I think that if gifts couldn’t be distributed to all counties, they should not have been given to one.

Even a few gifts to all the counties would have been helpful.
