AUBURN – Riley Lavoie’s unassisted goal at 9:29 of the third period lifted Auburn Youth Hockey Squirt II Wolverines to a 3-2 victory over Western Maine in Tier III action.

Auburn scored twice in the second period to take early command.

Cam Dubay converted at 7:32 on a feed from Connor Samson. Donovan Covert made it 2-0 at 11:54 courtesy of Dubay.

Jordan Ohayon and Chase Wescott each scored in the first three minutes of the third period to knot the score.

Huxley Lovering assisted both goals. Ohayon provided the second helper on Wescott’s tally.

Savannah Shaw was Auburn’s victorious goalie. Brennan Lane was her counterpart for Western Maine.
