LISBON – Two drivers from Lisbon were hurt Friday afternoon when their vehicles collided on Route 196 near the Getty gas station.

Police Sgt. Scott Stewart said Ghislaine Clement, 72, was driving east toward Lisbon Falls when Leroy Bragdon, 80, pulled from the westbound lane in front of her to enter the station.

Clement complained of pain and was taken to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Stewart said. A spokesman said Friday night that she was treated and released. Bragdon was treated at the scene by Lisbon Emergency personnel.

Damage was estimated at $4,000 to Clement’s 1998 Honda and $3,000 to Bragdon’s 1997 Chevrolet. Officer Richard St. Amant investigated the 12:40 p.m. crash.
