Lewiston – Rita L. Giguere, 82, formerly of Durham, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, at Montello Manor.

She was born in Canada, March 23, 1926, the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeanne Dugal Giguere. She was educated in Canadian schools and prior to her retirement was employed at General Electric in Auburn.

She was a member of St. Louis Church and enjoyed garage sales and arts and crafts.

She is survived by two sisters, Theresa Boraski and husband, George, of Connecticut and Charlotte Demers of Lewiston; three brothers, Gabriel Giguere and wife, Cecile, of Lewiston, Guy Giguere and wife, Jacqueline, of Lewiston and J. Andre Giguere and wife, Lucienne, of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Marcel and Paul.
