Between Jan. 5 at 12 a.m. and Jan. 12 at 12 a.m., patrol officers responded to 54 complaints.

Charges

On Jan. 5 at 12:23 p.m., Shane Richard, 23, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Noyes and charged with possession of a schedule W drug. Richard was able to post $500 unsecured bail and was released.

On Jan. 6 at 10:50 a.m., Daniel Johnson, 42, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Noyes and charged with operating after suspension. Johnson was able to post $300 unsecured bail and was released.

On Jan. 6 at 2:16 p.m., Martin Lore, 23, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Noyes and charged with operating after suspension. Lore was able to post $300 unsecured bail and was released.

On Jan. 9 at 2:50 a.m., Brent Carter, 20, of Dixfield was summonsed by Cpl. Maifeld on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

On Jan. 9 at 2:59 a.m., Archie Ray, 18, of Dixfield was summonsed by Cpl. Maifeld on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

On Jan. 9 at 2:59 a.m., Steven Webster, 20, of Dixfield was arrested by Ptl. Belanger and charged with operating after suspension. Webster, who was able to post $300 unsecured bail and released, was also charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

On Jan. 9 at 10:40 a.m., Sholarn Jones, 34, of Dixfield was arrested by Cpl. Noyes and charged with operating after suspension. Jones was able to post $300 unsecured bail and was released.

On Jan. 9 at 3:16 p.m., Marlene Bean, 47, of Bethel was arrested by Ptl. Mills and charged with operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor and violation of bail Bean was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

Sex Offense

On Jan. 11 at 11:58 a.m., Rumford resident reported a possible sex offense involving an adult and an underage juvenile.

Theft

On Jan. 9 at 8:10 a.m., Route 2 business reported a theft by use of a bad check on an account that didn’t exist. Incident is under investigation.

David Hodgkins, 29, of Rumford is wanted on a warrant of failure to appear on a charge of criminal speeding.
