RIO RANCHO, N.M. – David J. Dumais, 55, passed away Jan. 12, after a short illness, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born in Lewiston, Sept. 21, 1953, the son of Gaston M. and Marguerite L. Dumais. He attended local schools and graduated from St. Dom’s, Class of 1971. He continued on and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1976.
He worked in the food service industry locally and relocated to New Mexico in 1982. He continued his career in food service, until his sudden illness.
He was an avid golfer and sports car enthusiast. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and humor. He was loved by all and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, the love of his life, Terri Jardenico Dumais and a son, Gaston M. Dumais; sister, Claudia and husband, Timothy Flake, of Denver, Colo.; brother, Stephen and wife, Kathleen, of Lewiston; brother, Thomas and wife, Coleen, of Wonderlake, Ill.; and sister, Nina and husband, Lenny Percell, of Yorktown Heights, N.Y.
