DIXFIELD – The following incidents were handled by the Dixfield Police Department:
Accidents
Ricki L. Sinclair, 17, Blayne Street, Dixfield, skidded off Canton Point Road at 2:30 a.m. Dec. 27, causing $4,000 damage to the 2004 Toyota van owned by Margaret Martin, Dixfield.
Tammy Gerrish, 39, Front Street, Rumford, was traveling east on Route 2 at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 18, when the 2004 Ford station wagon she was driving hit a manhole cover and patch of ice, causing the vehicle to slide across the road and into guardrails. The vehicle sustained $3,500 damage.
Vehicles driven by Tanya L. Perreault, 31, Dixfield, and Neil A. McKenna, 21, of Hall Hill Road, Rumford, collided at 3:05 p.m. Dec. 17, on Main Street. Perreault’s 2004 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle sustained $2,500 damage. The 1995 International Harvester truck, owned by M.T. Pockets LLC, Main Street, Dixfield, sustained $100 damage.
