I wish life was like all of those holiday movies where at the end everyone is joyous and happy and everyone remembers what the true meaning of the holidays is. Well, like I said, I wish. It seems like the last few years especially, it’s hard for people to find that “holiday spirit.” Times are tough, people are losing their jobs, and their homes, they are not able to feed their families, or not able to heat their homes. We are reminded of this everyday just by turning on our televisions or listening to adult conversations. My wish for this year, and for many years to come, is that the people of the world would find, within themselves some kind of “holiday spirit” that will last long after the holiday season is done. Brighter times are ahead, it’s just got to be.
