PORTLAND – Jessie E. Sawyer, 25, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan 6, at the Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Heidelberg, Germany, on Sept. 4, 1983, a daughter of Michael and Dianne Lord Sawyer.

She was a graduate of Monmouth Academy and attended the University of Southern Maine. She was a member of the Sigma Iota Sigma Sororiety.

She is survived by her sister, Kaela Taylor and her husband, Craig, and their daughter, Audrey, all of Italy; her grandparents, Ormand and Christa Lord of Farmingdale; her uncle and aunt, Vinny and Carrie Lord of Windsor; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father and mother.
