Amanda Archer, 23, Backkingdom Road, Mexico, struck a guardrail on Canton Point Road at 12:35 p.m. Dec. 17. The 2008 Ford sedan she was driving sustained $2,500 damage.

Peter J. Geba, 56, Orr Street, Wilton, lost control of his 1998 Jeep sport utility vehicle in ice and slush at 6 a.m. Dec. 12 as he was traveling along Route 2. The vehicle sustained $5,000 damage.

Arrest

David M. Fretz, 41, Pine Street, Dixfield, operating after suspension, 2:53 p.m. Nov. 12 on Pine Street. He was released from the Dixfield Police Department on $200 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 3.

Summons

A resident reported at 10:30 a.m., Dec. 5, that a drug activity was in progress. The police investigation resulted in the summons of Lawrence Ward, 27, Kennebec Street, Rumford, on a charge of possessing a usable amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on March 3.
