AUBURN – David J. Caron, 43, of Lewiston, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Hospice House. He was surrounded by his loved ones while fighting his incredibly courageous battle.
He was born in Lewiston, on Nov. 8, 1965, the son of Ulysses and Fernande Nadeau Caron. Educated in local schools, he was a 1984 graduate of St. Dominic High School.
On Sept. 26, 1992, he married the love of his life, Tammy Roy, of Lewiston. He and Tammy were blessed with three beautiful children, Zo, 11, Otis, 8, and Ella, 4. His family was his world. For many years, they enjoyed family trips to Small Point celebrating their anniversary. His fondest memories were of the children running on the beaches, jumping the waves, collecting sea glass and shells, climbing rocks and walking to catch the sunset.
He also enjoyed hiking, fishing, canoeing, taking walks, and had a special love and talent for cooking and entertaining his family and friends. His mission in life was to serve others. He gave of his heart selflessly to the end. As a young boy, he moved furniture and appliances working with his mom and dad at Caron’s Second Hand Furniture and Antiques.
After his father was diagnosed with cancer, he delayed his college plans in order to support his parents. Upon his father’s passing, he continued to help his mother run the business until it was time to close up shop in 1993.
He then decided to open Ulysses Moving Co. with his focus being to provide uncompromising customer service. His loyal customer base appreciated his integrity, diligence, and dedication.
