LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Robert G. St. Denis at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, with Monsignor Marc Caron officiating.

The First Reading of scripture was done by Robert’s daughter-in-law, Kelly St. Denis. The Second Reading and The General Intercessions were done by his granddaughter, Elizabeth Moreau. The presentation of gifts was done by Robert and Claudette Robichaud. At the conclusion of the Mass, Philippe Moreau, a son-in-law, and Anne Moreau, a daughter, shared memories of time shared with Robert. His granddaughter, Elizabeth Moreau, read a poem she wrote herself as a tribute to her grandparents.

Committal was held at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gerry St. Denis, his son, Philippe Moreau, a son-in-law, and Gregory St. Denis, Michael St. Denis, Jimmy Moreau, Elizabeth Moreau, Thomas Stretton and Timothy Stretton, all grandchildren of Robert.
