TORRANCE, Calif. – Romeo Henri Goulet, 75, passed away Dec. 14, in Torrance, Calif., with his family by his side.

He was born on July 31, 1933, in Lewiston, the 14th of 16 children to Ernest and Sylvia Goulet. He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper from 1951 to 1953, including nine months of combat duty in the Korean War.

He was an active member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wilmington, Calif., and president of the Banning Manor Citizens Club.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Viviane (Beaucage); daughter, Debra Wofford and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Ethan and Erin Wofford; brothers, Roger of California, George of Lewiston and Paul of Sabattus; sisters, Rachelle Hendersen of California, Suzanne Platten of California, Charlotte Lessard and Vivian Roy of Lewiston and Pauline Gelinas Dubois of Minot; and a nephew/brother, Dick Goulet of Lewiston.

He was predeceased by his parents; one sister, Madeleine; brothers, Robert, Richard (Cookie), Marcel (Mike), Raymond, Camille and Albert (Buzz); and many nieces and nephews.
