SOUTH PARIS – A 3-hour workshop, “Introduction to Self-Employment” for anyone interested in starting a business, is being offered in on Feb. 3 and again on March 10, from 9 a.m.-noon at the Western Maine University and Community College Center. There is no charge for the workshop, but pre-registration is required.
This introductory workshop will expose participants to the pros and cons of owning a business, show how to get started, point out the major elements of a business plan, introduce resources available in the Oxford County area and help with the decision of whether self employment is the right choice.
