Maranacook Squirt Hockey posted a pair of wins over the weekend, beating Bangor, 9-1, in Kents Hill and knocking off Gardiner, 5-2, at Kennebec Ice Arena in Hallowell.
Joey Baumann notched a hat trick against Bangor. Brandan Coulombe and Zach Godbout each added two goals for Maranacook (17-4), while Hunter Tims and Mat Welch each scored a goal. Zack Davidson and Patrick Miller both logged a pair of assists. Bailey Stockford added another. Kobe Smith scored for Bangor. Jack Vickerson picked up the victory in goal.
Godbout picked up three goals against Gardiner. Coulombe chipped in two. Baumann chalked up three assists, with Vickerson adding another. Devon Madden registered a goal and an assist for Gardiner. Jacob Hodsdon also lit the lamp. Jason St. Pierre stopped everything else in goal to propel Maranacook.
