AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA Grade 5-6 boys’ basketball travel team absorbed its first loss of the season, 53-42, to undefeated Lawrence.

The ‘Y’ rallied from a 14-point deficit to within four in the final period before Lawrence crept away. Ian Mileikis and Luke Sterling set the pace with nine points apiece. Llewellyn Jensen, Brandon Varney and Bryce Gibson each added six points. Rounding out the scoring were Drew Lashua, Kaileb Tremaine and Bo Norcross with two points each. ‘Y’ concludes the regular season Saturday against Mt. View.
