WILTON – A Mass of Christian Burial for Sheldon O. FitzPatric was held Dec. 29 at St. Rose of Lima Church, Jay, with the Rev. Thomas Lequin officiating, after a family prayer service at the Wiles Remembrance Center. The resurrection choir was under the direction of Therese Therrien. Special music included “Mary’s Song” and “Ave Maria.” His granddaughters, Jennifer Godomsky and Kaitlyn Scott, brought forward the gifts. Grandson Andrew Scott gave a personal eulogy after Mass. Pallbearers were Thomas Scott, Andrew Scott, Alex Godomsky, Leonard Ceglarski, Doug Cropper, William Gats and Tony Poulin. After services, a family reception was held at LaFleur’s in Jay. Winter entombment is at the funeral home. Spring committal services, with full military honors, will be held May 15 at 2 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton.
