Serving Lewiston/Auburn and over a dozen surrounding communities, Trinity Catholic is Maine’s largest Catholic school. Established in 2006 through the merger of St. Peter’s/Sacred Heart, St. Joseph’s and Holy Cross Schools, Trinity was founded to continue over 125 years of Catholic education. With the support of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland, Maine, Trinity Catholic School provides a comprehensive educational program with contemporary instructional methods, rooted in traditional Catholic values.

Trinity Catholic School offers a complete learning program including Religion, Math, Science, Language, Reading, Literature, Social Studies, French, Computers, Art, Music and P.E. for all of our students, grades Pre K-8. Our curriculum is based on National Standards which include and exceed the Maine State Learning Results. Standardized testing for students and comprehensive faculty development and evaluation drive continuous academic improvement at Trinity Catholic.

The structure, safety and support that Trinity Catholic School provides, far exceed that of other schools. We offer a trained and certified faculty with over 300 years of combined teaching experience. Administration, faculty and staff look forward to working with you and your child to promote academic excellence and spiritual development within the context of the Catholic Church.

Parents who choose Trinity Catholic are committed to the values and philosophy of a Catholic education where spiritual development fosters mental and physical growth. School administration works closely with our strong PTO to manage dozens of committees and offers many additional ways to stay involved in your child’s education.
