WILTON – Marylena McDermott and Jeff Chaisson recently became engaged while vacationing in England.
Miss McDermott is the daughter of Pamela and David McDermott of Skowhegan. She is a 2001 graduate of Skowhegan Area High School, a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington and is currently attending the University of Southern Maine, having almost completed her master’s degree in mental health counseling. She is employed as the team leader of the Oxford County Crisis Response Team at Oxford County Mental Health Services in Rumford.
Mr. Chaisson is the son of Donna and Randall Chaisson of Rumford. He is a 1998 graduate of Mountain Valley High School in Rumford and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is currently employed at Verso Paper in Jay as a networking specialist in the IT Department.
The couple is residing in Wilton. A wedding date has not yet been set.
