TURNER – Enrichment classes are being offered by the SAD 52 and SAD 36 Upper Androscoggin Collaborative for the towns of Greene, Leeds, Turner, Livermore and Livermore Falls.

Classes in French for Beginners I and II will commence Monday and Thursday, Feb. 2 and 5. General Woodworking will starts Wednesday, Feb. 4, with an overview of basic skills. Safety, drawing plans, tools, their uses and basic woodworking techniques will be covered.

Students will be required to purchase their own lumber and hardware. Fun with Food will begins Feb. 4. It is an introduction to gourmet cooking made easy.

A variety of computer classes will begin Monday, Feb. 9, including Introduction to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Classes in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Windows will take place in March. Reiki Level I will start Tuesday, March 3. It is a natural and simple healing system that encourages relaxation, balance and over-all well being. Dog obedience classes will open Wednesday, March 4. Correction and behavior problems will be addressed.

Rabies shots must be current.
