It’s that time again. It is now time to announce the January Artist of the Month. The first 7th grade Artist of the month for the new year is Sarah Lopez. Mrs. Myrand picked her for her scratchboard design. Sarah said, “I liked doing my scratchboard project because I’d never used that medium before and I had fun with it.”

For the first 8th grade Artist of the month for 2009, Mrs. Allison chose Kate Audet. Kate got chosen for her clay project, a converse shoe. Kate said that art is a great way to express herself and that “one of Mrs. Allison’s art projects inspired mine. She had a clay shoe and it inspired me to make my converse shoe.”
