“Mom/Dad I want this, I want that!” Does this sound familiar to you adults? Wouldn’t you wish that from time to time your kids would just give it a rest when you take them to go shopping? If I ever did that, my parents would probably faint.

All over the world, there is this problem. Even when their families are poor, some kids just would not care if you don’t make a lot of money, they want it and that’s the end of it.

When they get older, the problem gets worse. They want more than they need. They should be thankful and happy for what they have.

If you let them have that, you will be out of money soon. Some people might call that person who gets spoiled a lot a brat. That’s not very nice. What if someone called your child that name?

There are also some kids who care about how their parents feel about spending too much money. They know what they need and would sometimes tell their parents that they don’t have to buy that for them, instead they could save the money for something more important. They’d really like a shirt or something, but it’s too expensive so they don’t tell their parents. Sometimes they get gifts from their mother and father when it isn’t a holiday yet. The parents think that their child should get something. They might remember an item that the kid likes and purchase it for them. Be grateful!
