The Broad Street Acoustic Trio, best known for playing cover tunes from the 1960s through the 1980s, will play at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Holly’s Own Deli & Restaurant in Auburn. The husband-and-wife team of vocalist Celeste Onofrio and guitarist Michael Onofrio, left, joined with guitarist and saxophonist John Rabassa, right. Each of the musicians has performed in various bands in Lewiston-Auburn since the early ’80s. Today, the trio performs locally for restaurants, clubs and private parties. Audience participation and laughter are encouraged during Broad Street’s lighthearted shows. The trio’s repertoire includes songs from well-known artists such as Eric Clapton, Stevie Nicks, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Van Morrison, Shania Twain and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Admission is free. Dinner reservations are not required, but seating is limited. The restaurant is at 84 Court St.
