CALGARY, Alberta – Michael Cammalleri stayed hot through the All-Star break and scored three more goals in the Calgary Flames’ 5-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night.
Cammalleri has scored eight times during a four-game goal streak, giving him 25 overall and moving him past Jarome Iginla for the team lead. He has 11 goals and two assists during a seven-game point streak.
Todd Bertuzzi and Dion Phaneuf also scored for the Flames, who have won six of eight overall and nine of 10 at home.
Drew Stafford and Tim Connolly scored for Buffalo, 2-2 during a season-high six-game road swing. The Sabres won 10-2 at Edmonton on Tuesday.
