Library has exhibit of Valentine cards

NORWAY – The Norway Memorial Library is exhibiting a collection of antique Valentine’s Day cards dating from 1910 to 1918.

The cards were sent to Dorothy Bullard, and now belong to her daughter, Jean Hankins of Otisfield. The cards are on display in the glass case in the reference room through Wednesday, Feb. 18.

The library will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Saturday, Feb. 14, with a program, “For the Love of a Song.” The free concert will feature favorite songs of local singers beginning at 7 p.m. at the library.
